Gene Hull
SLICE OF LIFE, Engaging Short Fiction is Gene Hull’s third book.
His first book GOING TO COURT, a four-color illustrated book of Tennis Poetry was selected for the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport Rhode Island.
His second book, HOOKED ON A HORN, Memoirs of Recovered Musician, was awarded the Literary Prize for Memoir by the Florida Writers Association.
A former professional musician, Gene was an alto saxophonist with Duke Ellington and other bands in the Post Swing era. He was Music Director for several international celebrities and later the Senior Entertainment Producer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
Gene was graduated of the University of Notre Dame with additional studies at Juilliard, Fairfield University and the Creative Writing Program of Florida International University. He resides on Florida’s Treasure coast.
