Following his discharge from the Air Force where he served as a fighter pilot, Patrick Lennon began a twenty-year career as a Hospital CEO. Writing part-time, he had a number of short stories published. He quit his day job, moved to the Florida Keys and began writing seriously. "Tony" is his 8th novel. His novel "Paradise Lost" was accepted by the Pulitzer Prize Board. He had a play selected by the Key West Theatre Festival, and is a former member of the Dramatists Guild in New York, past President of the Key West Writers Guild and current President of the Treasure Coast Writers Guild. REVOLUTION is historical fiction about a Key West boat captain caught in the midst of power struggles between Batista, Castro and the United States. At first, Ramon is unwilling to be involved in Cuba's Revolution but changes his mind when an assassin working for the Batista regime mistakenly murders his younger brother in Key West. Traveling to Cuba, he hunts down the assassin to exact revenge. After witnessing the harsh rule of the Batista government in Cuba, Ramon smuggles arms to Castro to help put an end to the Batista government. John Hendrix witnesses a mafia style killing while hunting on Sal Rossi's land. Hendrix suspects that Rossi, a corrupt union boss, is involved in the murder. Concerned that his family would be the target of Rossi's henchmen, which happened five years ago, Hendrix doesn't want to tell the county sheriff. The sheriff collects evidence that places Hendrix at the scene of the murder and when another murder occurs the sheriff arrests Hendrix. He escapes when the car transporting him to jail is involved in an accident. The chief deputy learns that the sheriff also has a motive to commit murder and when authorities are about to confront the sheriff, he has a heart attack and is rushed to the hospital. The sheriff's physician is incompetent to treat heart attacks and a major effort by hospital personnel to save the sheriff's life is complicated by hospital politics.
